Just got a Lenovo IdeaPad Duet 3i to replace an old Laptop since I don't need high mobile performance, but welcome the absence of fans, charging via Usb C, and the Wuxga resolution...

Here are good settings for the current Difficulties if using the 4 Threads.

Code: Select all

Threads = 4
PrimeTableLimit = 2147483648
SieveWorkers = 2
SieveBits = 24
You should earn about 10 RIC/day at Difficulties around 920 if there are no other CPU intensive application. The N5030 will be running around 2-2.1 GHz in this condition. The frequency will be higher if less Cores are used.
It is about 2.5-3x faster than the Raspberry Pi, and it has similar multicore performance as old Mobile Sandy Bridge i5/i7s with 2 Cores like the 2620M, which is honestly not bad for something based on Atom architectures.

Note: if you plan to buy a similar laptop and plan to use Mobile Data, the Intel XMM 7360 = Fibocom L850-GL does not have drivers for Linux :|
There is a GitHub repository for it, though I prefer to wait for an out of the box support.
